About Spacelab

Spacelab is a Gozo-based STEAM platform for children (and the adult child in all of us fascinated by life, the universe and everything).

Our mission is to think about and to link the universe of uncovered mysteries that surrounds humanity, and all the beings and nature with which we share that universe.

Launched in February 2019, Spacelab has worked with partners including the Ministry for Gozo, Esplora and the Malta Council for Science & Technology to engage both children and grown-ups around the subjects of Science, Exploration, Creativity, Art, Nature and Conservation.

Past Events include:

  • Walking on the Moon – collaborative art installation at Esplora
  • Spacelab Build-a-Spaceship Contest and Exhibition
  • Earth Hour 2019 | Earth Hour Live 2020 | Earth Hour Gozo 2021
  • Gozo Pop-Up Giving Cafe’
  • Earth Film Nights
  • Tree-Planting

Whether it is to book a place at our next happening, to seek our ideas for your next event or just to say hello, we’d love to hear from fellow Earthlings (and interstellar friends). We love to work with like-minded people who believe in the powers of creativity, positivity, nature and innovation.
